Happy birthday Dad! I hope you have a lovely day and get lots of hugs and kisses from Mum and I. We both hope you will stay safe and sound for the rest of your life. And happy birthday to you. Week 1

On the first week of holidays we went to Melbourne. First, we went to Nanny and Papa’s house. We had an in between lunch and afternoon tea. It was delicious. Then we went to our motel. My favourite part of the day was when I got to watch the grand finale of Farmer Wants A Wife.

On Tuesday we dropped Mum off at St. Leonards Collage. Then Dad and I went to Southland Shopping Centre. We had a lovely lunch. Then we headed to Templestowe to see one of Dad’s old friends. I got to play with Emma their daughter. We went on the trampoline, played beach tennis and did Wii Fit and Wii Sports. After, we had finished playing I went to Granny’s house. I stayed overnight and played Trivial Pursuit with Uncle Gabby.

The next day Mum and Dad came to pick me up and we went to IKEA. I bought a hanging net with holes so I can put some of my toys in there. Then after a busy day we finally went home and relaxed.

Happy Anniversary Mum and Dad!

On the first Saturday of holidays it was Mum and Dad’s anniversary. We all went to the Buninyong Farmers Market. We bought some ciabatta bread and a bit more than 1 kg of tomatoes. Then we came home and opened the presents. Dad got a mouse for his computer, Mum got a mortar and pestle. And my present for Mum and Dad was 2 crystals, one for each of them and, I also copied a story onto the computer by typing it. It had more than 1,000 words. For lunch we had bruschetta and then watched the VFL game between Collingwood and North Ballarat. We saw Mr Dinnell kick 3 goals! Then we had some scones for afternoon tea. For dinner we had roast chicken and dessert was ice-cream, strawberries and chocohotpots!  It was a wonderful day!

Week 2

On Wednesday we went to Melbourne. First we went to some audio visual shops. Dad found the perfect Hi Fi cabinet, but there were none left! Dad was so sad Then we went to McDonald’s for lunch. Mum and Dad had the Grand Angus burger and I had 6 chicken nuggets & chips. Then we went to some furniture shops. I found it quite boring but, I did love sitting on the couches and chairs. After that, we checked into our hotel and went straight to Nan and Pa’s house. For dinner we had meatloaf and salad. For dessert it was banana and sultana jelly with ice-cream. (For me) Then we went back to the hotel and went to bed.

On Thursday I went to Granny’s house. Mum had to go to a Chinese acupuncture. At 1:00 one of my friends who lives next door to Granny’s came over for lunch. We played till 4:00 and then her Dad came. Then he invited me over to her house. We played on the trampoline, played Runescape and played on the Wii. Then my Uncle came. and I watched the Amazing Race Grand Finale. I also watched the Grand Final Footy Show review because Granny said I was aloud too. Then at about 11:30pm I went to bed.

On Friday at about lunchtime Mum and Dad came and picked me up from Granny’s. We said our goodbyes and then headed back home. On the way there we stopped at De Caprio’s for lunch. Mum had the lamb salad with mint sauce & Dad had the chicken parmigiana with vegetables. I had the fried calamari with chips. Then we continued onto home. When we got home we all fell on the couch and then went to bed.

Week 3

On Tuesday we went to the Rivers Factory. Mum and I were looking for some clothes and shoes. We spent about 1 hour and a half looking. We bought a pink skirt, board shorts, a pink and white tracksuit top and a purple T-shirt. For shoes, we bought 1 pair of an alternative to runners.

On Wednesday we went to Central Square. First, we went to Le Kitchen to pick-up some bowls. Then we went to the Post Office and I bought some smiggle things. I bought a big pink notebook, a pink pen with the colors red, orange, green, blue, purple, pink and black & a pink I-Pod pouch. Then I got some prawn and avocado  sushi for lunch. Then we jumped in the car and went to Big W. At Big W Mum bought me some black leggings and black and pink tank tops. Then we went to school. We found the package that we were looking for. We bought it to one of my school teacher’s house. Then we all went to Piper’s for afternoon tea. I had the flourless chocolate cake. It was delicious! Then we said our goodbyes and went to the supermarket. After that, we finally went home.

On Friday we all did everything fast and had a lovely brunch which was Baked eggs, with ham, cheese and avocado and salad. Then the big skip came which is a big bin that you use to throw things out. We’re renting it for one week so we can clear out the garage for moving into our new house. After the skip had come Dad started cleaning out the garage while Mum and I just relaxed. At about 2:00 we had to go to the mechanic to pick up our car. When we came back we had warm double choc muffins for afternoon tea. Then we all sat down and relaxed together. For dinner we had beef and vegetable soup. (Dad sneaked in celery and cabbage which I don’t like to make me eat them!) On Saturday Mum and I went to Central Square while Dad did some more cleaning out in the garage. First we went to the Post Office, then Le Kitchen, Newsagency and we also went to Target. We bought me a pair of sneakers and Hannah Montana boots. Then we went to BB’s cafe for morning tea. I had 2 scones and Mum had fruit salad. Then we went back through Target to get to the car but on the way Mum and I saw some pink round cute seats. When Mum and I saw them we both went Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. So straight away we bought them before anyone else could and went home and relaxed. Then we had soup again and for dinner we had Roast Pork.

On Tuesday we all woke up and did everything normal and then Dad was in a rush so he left very fast to go to the shops. Dad left at about 9:30am. While Dad was at the shops Mum and I were packing some of our things in boxes to move into our new house for about 2 hours. By the time that was done Dad came home, finally. For the rest of the time until dinner we all relaxed then halfway through Mum had to do some work. After dinner, Dad and I went on the computer and played Mini Golf. Dad was leading 18 times and also won the whole match. The next day Dad left really early again to get his glasses checked because they broke. While he was gone I was relaxing and Mum was working. When Dad came home about 1 hour later he had to leave again to go to get a eye test. Then Mum and I did more packing for the house, about 2 and a half hours of packing. Then Dad came home and we all relaxed, then Mum and I did more packing about 1 hour worth this time. Then we had Morrocan rack of lamb, vegies and rice for dinner. Then Dad and I played Mini Golf on the computer again this time Dad won. On Thursday we all woke up at about 7:00, went to the mechanic at about 7:30, Mum dropped Dad and I off at home and Mum went to work (school). For the rest of the day Dad and I either played with each other, packed for the house, played on the computer or relaxed. Then Mum came home. For dinner we had the same as we had on Wednesday lamb, rice and vegies. Then I had a piece of Chocolate Bavarian Pie. It’s cream on the top, chocolate mousse in the middle and crumble on the bottom. Then I went to bed.
